Hoy cojo mis lápices y me voy a La comarca (en la Tierra Media) para hacer este retrato al hobbit Bilbo Bolsón.
En este primer boceto rápido solo quería determinar la pose y las ropas. Am y la pipa, que en un hobbit es muy importante.
El papel no es de dibujo; es solo un cuaderno donde hago un montón de garabatos.

Today, I take my pencils and I travel to The Shire (Middle Earth) to draw this portrait of Bilbo Baggins the Hobbit.
In this first quick sketch I only wanted to concrete the pose and the clothes. Oh, and the pipe, which is a very important thing for a Hobbit.
It's not a drawing paper; it's just a notebook where I draw a lot of scribbles.
Después, hago el boceto de nuevo en un papel más grande. La misma pose, el mismo gesto, las mismas ropas y la misma pipa. ¿Veis el humo? No me convencía mucho así que, cuando hice el dibujo definitivo, lo cambié por otra cosa.
After that, I repeat the sketch again in a bigger paper. The same pose, the same gesture, the same clothes and the same pipe. Can you see the smoke? I didn´t feel very confortable with it so I changed it when I made the final art.
